ABOUT
Hardrock Foundation has existed since 2017 with the aim to stand with talented vulnerable children, to access equal opportunities of basic needs in the communities they live.
It has different talent groups ie; Hardrock Soccer Academy that caters for football, Hardrock Entertainment for Music and Dance; and our Dancers are called Tricx Star Dancers as one of it's major projects that is strongly developing, and shaping this vulnerable children across the country.
We mentor them as a way to protect them from drug abuse, negative peer groups, dormancy which is always the main cause of crime.
It is founded by then a 24 year youth Hajusu Misaki Wanyama, who was also a victim of vulnerability due to his humble background, and Hardrock has gone on making it’s foundation firm year by year.
LOCATION;
Ndejje – Makindye Ssabagabo Municipal Council, Wakiso District – Uganda, Africa.
VISION;
To become problem solvers affecting vulnerable children and needy youths
MISSION;
To inspire, prepare and empower beneficiaries to succeed in a changing world using the acquired skills, togetherness mode and talent as major tools.
This means;
We develop and inspire beneficiaries to give talent value.
We use talent as a unifying factor then develop their mind set about challenges of this changing world.
We use talent as an element to searching education bursaries, and scholarships to the beneficiaries.
Through talent, we unite and do community hygiene by cleaning market places, water ways and water sources.
We equip the vulnerable and needy with self-sustainable hands on skills such as computer skills, hair dressing and salon, garment cutting and tailoring to be able to fit and succeed in this changing world.
MAIN OBEJECTIVE;
To become a best world class foundation through the projects we get involved into.

We spot and develop talents
These children are picked from different vulnerable families across the community and some are raised by single mothers. We mentor them as a way to protect them from drug abuse, negative peer groups, dormancy which is always the main cause of crime

We train this vulnerable talented youths with Computer Skills, Phone repair, Saloon skills and Tailoring in order to cater for the future challenges

We participate in different leagues, Gallas and Soccer Tournaments to expose the talents of the players to get new opportunities in the community for them to achieve their dreams in this God given talent.

challenges
- Poor training ground texture.
- Inadequate training equipments and facilities to produce quality sports men and women
- Scarcity of meals to feed the beneficiaries and lack of accommodation facilities
- Limited funds to support education for the beneficiaries to attain hands on skills
- Lack of volunteers to mid set the beneficiaries with both sports and life skills.
- Poor mindset of parents about sports and talents.
- Poor government setup structures about sports especially soccer.
